Jeez, this artistic consistency thing is tough. A lot has changed since my last post. We have a wonderful little boy now. My current project is almost finished.  I've been reworking the illustrations for my Dad's book.  I started this a few week before my son was born (seven months ago), and finding time has been very difficult.  I'm in the finishing stages, and I'm much happier with thing this time around.  The first round of images was done back in 2007, and my skills and the technology I have at my disposal have both improved dramatically. Wow.  Two years since the last journal entry here.  That's kind of sad, really.  And now I technically have less time to spend here for now, but I don't care.  I'm going to do it anyway.  Maybe now I have the determination to focus on what I want to focus on in between what I have to focus on. I'm determined to through together whatever I can just to get something up, regardless of what kind of art it is.  Right now, the thing to go with seems to be digital painting, now that I finally got around to getting my tablet working again. So, yeah, I'm not really new to DA.  I'm starting a new account for my own work, aside from the one I share with my wife (catswithmatches). This is primarily a space for my 3d work.  A place to show off, and to organize my thoughts and projects. (and, hopefully, scare up some commisions/freelance work.) There's not much order to it right now.  A bunch of random pieces, a few ideas for a silly dr who parody, and the collection of illustrations I did for my dad's book. More will be coming relatively quickly.
